What to Do on This Kauai Coastline

Found on Kauai’s North Shores is a 17-mile stretch referred to as the Napali Coast. This gorgeous, mountainous coastline is known for its cliffs with ridges that tower above the Pacific Ocean. Home to sandy beaches, magnificent waterfalls, and lush valley floors, there are plenty of picturesque sights and ways to discover them.

Hiking

Located on the coast is the Napali Coast State Wilderness Park. The Kalalau Trail is a 22 round-trip trail inside the park that is the only way to access the coast via land. The trail can sometimes close, so check for updates regarding its status before heading out on your adventure. We recommend that only experienced hikers tackle this trail.

Boating
