Anake’s Juice Bar
Tucked away at the back of a local grocery store, Anake’s juice bar serves up some of the heftiest, creative, and delicious bowls on the island. This juice bar is the definition of a hidden gem. To find Anake’s, you’ll first have to pull into one of the smallest parking lots on the Southshore and find parking. Once you complete the most difficult part of the task, head on into the Kukuiula Market and walk directly into the back. You’ll be greeted by the bustling sounds of blenders and chopping fruit and their menu is jam packed with pretty much every acai bowl imaginable.
Some personal favorites: The Chunky Monkey and The Hulk. They also offer and amazing selection of juices and smoothies however if you are up for something savory go right next to Kukuiula Market and order some of the best no-frills mexican food Kauai has to offer at Da Crack!

Aloha Aina Juice Café
Making our way east, in the town of Lihue, definitely make sure to stop by this amazing small family business that puts so much love into their food you can taste the difference!
Owned and operated by a mother of three, Misha Laney, and her fabulous staff at the Aloha Aina Juice Café create beautiful and authentic bowls that reflect the freshness of the fruit here on Kauai. They have a long list of acai bowls to choose from as well as juices, smoothies, grab-and-go items, elixirs, and so much more! She recently opened a brand new location in the heart of Lihue, this is often a first stop for clients right off the plane.

Kalalea Juice Hale
Heading north towards the north shore of Kauai in sleepy Anahola town you will find a gem of a juice bar. This juice “hale” which means home in Hawaii. Kalalea Juice Hale is nestled into the base of the scenic Kalalea Mountain. The claim to fame of this juice hale is that their granola is made completely from scratch and it is addicting! People are notorious for going back and asking for extra servings.
This Juice Hale gets extra style points for having the cutest mango colored stand, lots of comfortable seating, a beautiful view and a bunch of signs reminding you that, yes the chickens love your acai bowl as much as you so please don’t turn your back for a second. In addition they offer delicious and creative masterpiece bowls. Its no question why this place is an instagram favorite. For us the bowls are so delicious we rarely have time to take a picture because we are so busy eating it. This hale also makes baked goods, dried fruit, and amazing fresh pressed juices. Aloha Juice Bar
Located in the heart of Hanalei directly in the middle of the Ching Young Shopping center parking lot, Aloha Juice Bar or “the red juice wagon” as many call it, takes the cake for their unbeatable acai bowls. Aloha Juice Bar is not new to the scene. In fact, they have been open for over 14 years and still manages to have a line that stretches around the perimeter of their building.
Owned by Nina Yarberry, her and her wonderful staff make going to Aloha Juice Bar feel like you’re coming home from a long day of school and getting to eat your favorite treat. With some of the best customer service in the food industry, Nina and her employees whip up the tastiest acai bowls you could ever imagine. She takes care of her regulars and have people that fly in and drive all the way to the north shore just to eat her food!
Everything is customizable which makes this spot a great find if you are sensitive to any foods or have allergies. The options are endless and the service is always super quick.
