Oasis on the Beach Restaurant

Oasis on the Beach is a new and independently owned restaurant in the Waipouli Beach Resort that opened in April of 2010. Oasis on the Beach truly lives up to its name. This charming restaurant is beachfront to one of Kauai's gorgeous east side beaches with mesmerizing sunsets to view while you eat some of Kauai's freshest and most delicious local ingredients. They offer a wonderful Sunday brunch from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (with an ala carte menu and everything under $15), dinner, and drinks. They work closely with Kauai's farmers, ranchers, and fisherman to provide you with the best and freshest local ingredients, and offer you a Kauai dining experience second to none.



The Cuisine
Chef Joey Cole and sous chef, Daniel Shipley, create and prepare mouth-watering dishes that showcase the best Hawaiian agriculture through eclectic methods of preparation, representing the islands and all they have to offer, and also offer a chef's choice revolving menu. Oasis on the Beach offers a social menu and drink selection and supports the local community by featuring eighty-five percent local products and ingredients. The menu encourages sharing and pairing with its focus on quality, simplicity, and sourcing locally. Eat fresh fish caught from Kauai's waters the day before, or vegetables just picked from Kauai's local gardens. Oasis includes freshly caught and freshly picked ingredients on their constantly changing menu, making the food unique and sustainable to Kauai, and offering an experience like no other Kauai restaurant can. Plates range from $9-$20 and offer a special pairing price of 3 plates for $35 with wine pairing $15 extra (and vegetarian options available too!).



The Drinks
In addition to their non-alcoholic drinks, Oasis serves beer, wine, and signature and crafted cocktails that are flavorful and complimentary, enhancing the dining experience. In-house sommelier, Collin Darrell, is extremely informative and knowledgeable, providing you with a wine list ranging from light to full with full-bodied wines that nobody else on Kauai pours by the glass, including wines that are two decades old, which allows you to savor wines you've never had before at a comfortable price. The mixologists, Ryan Sanford and Joel Downs, use creative, local ingredients when crafting your martinis, mai tais, or drink of choice, heightening your Kauai dining experience. Don't miss happy hour everyday from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. offering half off on specialty drinks and $3.00 draft beers!
